How we measure: uptime is the share of successful checks across all monitors in the AlertSleep network, response time is the average of successful HTTP checks, and the check count includes every request our servers send, the second-location confirmations included.

Frequently asked questions

Setup, alert channels, the free trial and what a plan costs.

How do I set up website monitoring?

Start a 14-day free trial, paste the URL you want watched, pick a check interval and choose where alerts should go. There is nothing to install — no agent and no code on your site. Monitoring starts right away.

How much does AlertSleep cost, and is there a free trial?

Two plans, billed once a year: Studio at $59 and Business at $99, with SMS and phone call alerts included. Both start with a 14-day free trial — no card required; choose a plan before it ends to keep monitoring. Our free tools need no account at all.

Which alert channels does AlertSleep support?

Email, SMS, phone call and push notifications, plus Slack, Telegram, Microsoft Teams and WhatsApp. Every active channel is notified when an incident starts and again when the service recovers. SMS and phone calls are included in the plan price.

How quickly will I know that my site is down?

Checks run as often as every minute, so downtime is detected within 60 seconds. Alerts go out as soon as the failure threshold you configured is reached.

What can AlertSleep monitor besides websites?

REST and GraphQL APIs, TCP ports, SSL certificate validity and page speed. API monitors support Basic Auth, bearer tokens and custom headers, so protected endpoints can be checked too.

Can I publish a public status page?

Yes, on every plan. A status page shows uptime history and incidents for the monitors you choose, under your own address. How many pages you can publish depends on your plan.
